“Blown 40”

Theme: In the early 50’s Southern California was a hot bed of skilled craftsmen such as Frank Curtis, Eddie Kuzma, Quinn Epperly applied their artistry designing and building the best Indy race cars of the day. If they decided to build a shop truck in 1952 the concept would likely entail.

Engine: Mercury flathead, Supercharged “Scot Blower”, upgraded oil system, improved fuel and cooling systems.

Driveline: Overdrive transmission, quick change rear end.

Chassis: Wishbone-Trailing arm suspension, front sway bar, ¼ elliptic rear springs, upgrade steering, big brakes.

Body: 1940 Ford with smooth look. 39 deluxe grille and lights. Pancaked hood, rear roll pan, widen rear fenders.

Interior: Striking interior features custom built seat covered in green Connoly leather including door panels held in place by ¼ turn aircraft fasteners. Carpet is German square weave along with imported 60oz wool headliner blending with vintage Auburn gauges, Banjo steering wheel and nickel plating for that enduring classic look.
